I just fired up a new relay and the sync is terribly slow <3000 block/min avg.
When syncing other nodes I was getting 40000+/min.
Any idea what could be causing the slow sync. I reduced peers to reduce the cpu load which helped a little, but not much. I’ve restarted the node a few times.
This could be a result of basically everything you can imaging: the “wrong” slow peers, slow harddisk, slow/too few cpus, slow network… One can only guess with this much of an error description, sorry.
Have you figured out why, I am having the same issue on newly created node. 500 block/min CPU and RAM redlined.
