Cardano Summit 2024 Surabaya brought a different theme compared to previous years. This year, we collaborated with the Indonesian Blockchain Association (ABI), Atrium.io, Community Node, and Delegate Constitutional by Intersect.
The event was opened by a welcome speech from the Host Lead, Felix Christanto, the Lead of Cardano Hub Surabaya. This was followed by updates on the Cardano ecosystem and the recent hard fork, presented by Cardano Ambassador Indonesia, Andreas Sosilo. Randy, from the Delegate Constitutional, provided updates on the [Cardano Constitutional Workshop held in Bandung](Cardano Constitutional Workshop - Bandung Indonesia), and the session concluded with Fanny Wijaya, another Cardano Ambassador Indonesia, sharing the journey and progress of Cardano Hub Indonesia and Cardano Women Indonesia.

We received full support from ABI for this educational activity on the Cardano ecosystem, marked by the presence of Asih Karnengsih, the Executive Director of ABI. In the second session, we hosted a panel discussion with panelists exploring the theme “The Development of the Web3 Industry in Indonesia.” The event was warmly received by the 62 attendees from various backgrounds.
During the dinner and minggle session, attendees had the opportunity to visit the booths. Atrium.io showcased their DApps demo and distributed merchandise, Community Node presented their project demo, and there were booths from Cardano Hub Indonesia and Intersect.
A special highlight of the Cardano Summit 2024 Surabaya was the Pitch Fest for proposers in Fund 13, featuring:

The event concluded with a Mentimeter Session at Cardano Summit 2024 Surabaya, where we tested a session format previously used at the Cardano Constitutional Workshop in Bandung to gather real-time audience feedback. This session was engaging and sustained audience participation until the end of the event.
