Hey Cardano community!

Lloyd here with an exciting update from our latest Governance Matters episode. We’re diving into something big: Cardano’s new Constitutional Committee. :classical_building:

Here’s what you need to know:

:small_blue_diamond: The Committee is now formed and ready to roll :small_blue_diamond: 7 members, including community-elected reps (you helped choose them!) :small_blue_diamond: Their job? Ensuring on-chain actions align with our constitution

:bar_chart: Fun fact: Over 455 million ADA participated in the voting. That’s some serious community power!

But here’s where it gets really interesting: You have a chance to shape Cardano’s future directly. We’ve got global workshops coming up where you can help draft the final Constitution. Yes, you read that right – you can be part of writing blockchain history!

  • How do you see this impacting Cardano’s future?
  • Thinking about joining a workshop?

Your input matters – in Cardano, we’re all part of the governance process. Let’s keep the conversation going!

The Constitutional Committee is necessary and within the boundaries of the law which established it.
I also admire the concept of separation of powers introduced between the constitutional committee and the other two independent entities as far as Cardano on-chain governance is concerned
