Catalyst Weekly #120: Community Review is LIVE!

Hello there, beautiful soul!

What a fantastic week in the world of Catalyst. After nearly a year’s break since submissions were last open (October 2024), the community is back in action - and what a show of force it is. Thank you to all DReps who made this return possible. You are appreciated.

We’ve seen over 1,600 proposals submitted for Fund14 by about 780 unique proposers. In addition, over 3,500 Community Reviewers have subscribed to help assess these proposals.

Want to meet some of these amazing humans? There’s a great place for it - Catalyst Town Hall. If you haven’t already, come join our live community sessions every Wednesday at 3 PM UTC. You can register for the next one here and also find all past recordings.

So what’s on right now? A whole lot!

The next crucial phase of Fund14 is officially underway! This is where the community’s voice begins to shape the future of the ecosystem. I invite you read below a clear breakdown of what’s happening now and what to expect next.

Thank you for your dedication and involvement in making Project Catalyst a success.

Your participation is what drives this ecosystem forward.

Wishing you the best,

Danny Ribar

1. Community Review is Now Active

The Community Review stage is live until Sep 17, 2025. This process is essential for assessing the quality and viability of submitted proposals.

  • Proposal Review (Aug 22 – Sep 5): Community Reviewers are currently providing valuable feedback on all proposals.
  • Quality Control (Sep 10 – Sep 17): Following the review period, Community Moderators will assess the feedback to ensure fairness and quality.

Want to learn more about the process? Read the Community Review Guidelines. Are you a participating Community Reviewer - make sure to check your inbox for a separate notice over the next days.

2. View All Submitted Proposals

For full transparency, we have published a complete list of every proposal submitted for Fund14 on the Catalyst Website. In addition, you can also access the official CSV supporting document here.

  • What is this list?
    • This is the initial list of finalized proposals that were submitted ahead of the Aug 18, 6AM UTC deadline.
  • Why are there different links for proposals?
    • The original submission links from CatalystApp are included for reference. However, the official links for voting are now on projectcatalyst.io under their respective category sections. These are the links that will appear in the mobile voting app for every proposal that passes initial moderation in Fund14.
  • What is the status of the CatalystApp?
    • It is now closed for this round and serves as an archive of the original submissions. A mobile friendly version is coming in the future as new the Catalyst tech stack continues to gradually integrate and roll out.
  • Where does this data come from?
    • All data shown was submitted publicly by the proposers via CatalystApp.

Important: This is a preliminary list. Every proposal is now undergoing a mandatory moderation review to ensure it complies with all fund rules. In Fund14, we are running a pilot program with our seasoned Level2 moderators. As a result, not all proposals shown here are guaranteed to advance to the final voting ballot. The finalized list of approved proposals will be published in the second tab of the document once the review is complete. If you are a proposer - make sure to keep an eye on your inbox as there could be an important call to action for you.

3. Get Ready for Snapshot!

While the review process is underway, now is the time for everyone to prepare for the vote. To ensure you can participate, if not already having your valid registrations from previous funding rounds, you must register before the Fund14 snapshot.

  • Voter Registration Deadline: Sep 11, 2025 (9:45 PM UTC)

Don’t wait until the last minute! Learn everything you need to know about the process and how to get registered by reading the guidelines below.
