🎉 Continue to promote Blockchain, and AI research in universities

During a series of introduction and promotion activities on Blockchain and AI in research institutions, on June 15th, the University Blockchain Alliance (UBA) visited and collaborated with the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Economic and Technical Industries (https://khoacntt.uneti.edu.vn/). Both parties engaged in discussions on the following topics:

• Introduction to the Faculty of Information Technology and the University.
• Exploring regular activities organized by the university for students.
• Listening to the Head of the Faculty sharing about teaching activities and scientific research.
• Exploring research and practical activities in the field of Blockchain and AI.
  
  

I and UBA members briefly introduced:

• Funding models, supporting activities for innovative ideas on Blockchain and AI
• Introduction to Project Catalyst and Deep Funding
  
  

After the working session, all parties agreed on the collaboration methods and scheduled upcoming activities to enhance research and implementation of innovative ideas using Blockchain and AI at the University.

According to the agreed plan between UBA and the Faculty of Information Technology at the University of Economic and Technical Industries, as well as the schedule posted on Meetup, on June 29, 2023, both parties collaborated to organize a seminar with the topic “Blockchain, AI, and Entrepreneurship in the University.”

Over 30 teachers from the University and members from UBA participated in the event, exchanging the following topics:

• Introduction to UBA.
• The current state of entrepreneurship in the University.
• Project Catalyst - Potential and opportunities for startups.
• Singularity.NET - Nurturing ideas about AI and ML.
• How we can support you.
• Sharing of some scientific research projects from the University.

After more than 2 hours of discussions, we proposed specific activities for the near future, including:

• Forming a group of lecturers to participate in writing proposal to summit to Project Catalyst with UBA.
• UBA and the Department will coordinate to schedule knowledge sharing sessions on Blockchain and AI with the faculty.
