I went to recover my wallet with my 12 word phrase then it had the circle constantly spinning and would not continue. So I shut everything down and now It says " Connecting to Network" and work actually connect. Is this a common issue ? Does anyone have a fix?

Did you try: Close Daedalus. Open a terminal. cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Daedalus/Wallet-1.0 rm open.lock This fixed the issue for me on a previous version on my Mac.

What type of VPN? Browser based?

Same here. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Deleted open.lock. Nothing. Been a whole month now and this daedalus wallet is as a matter of fact dead.

Same problem here. Just create a light wallet so we can keep our ADAs safe. For the future, it would be highly desireable to create an integration with Ledger Wallets.
