I just wanted to let everyone know about a Catalyst proposal I submitted for Fund3 and wanted to get some feedback plus see if anyone is interested in collaborating on the project.
It is essentially a way of using the identity capabilities being built on Cardano for Atala PRISM to provide an address name service. Similar services have been built on Ethereum (e.g Ethereum Name Service, Unstoppable Domains), but they use smart contracts which adds unnecessary blockchain bloat and increasing costs.
Using human readable names instead of crypto addresses will not only make transferring funds easier, but when dApps are introduced they will also simplify the upgrade process.
