Recap, Berlin Hackathon 2025 - Cardano Community Event
Set during Berlin Blockchain Week, the Cardano Berlin Hackathon brought together builders, designers, and community voices for two days of coding, collaboration, and real talk. From voice-controlled wallet prototypes to Roundtable Talks on developer tooling, onboarding, and Cardano’s long-term sustainability—one thing is for sure: the focus stayed on what matters: building for real users.
This summary on the Cardano Forum not only captures the spirit of the event, but also includes a recap video—all part of the ongoing Community Engagement activities by the Cardano Foundation Community Team.

Midnight: Snapshot Complete, Tokenomics Now Live
On June 23, Midnight released their long-awaited Tokenomics & Incentives White Paper, outlining how the project combines privacy, sustainability, and interoperability. It covers the role of the NIGHT token, DUST as a non-transferable resource, multichain support, and a phased, community-first distribution.
For those wondering when the snapshot took place — the Midnight team confirmed in a post on X that it already happened on June 11 at 00:00 UTC.
You can find more details about Midnight, the token distribution phases, which other token holders are eligible, and more in the full white paper: https://www.midnight.gd
Also worth checking out: Cardano Ambassador Peter Bui has just released a helpful video guide that dives deeper into the Midnight tokenomics. The guide walks through everything from tokenomics and eligibility to redemption schedules — plus how SPOs and delegators can earn NIGHT moving forward. IOG Blog: Cardano Blueprint - Simplifying Protocol Knowledge
The recent IOG blog introduces the Cardano Blueprint - a fresh community-driven effort, aimed to simplify Cardano’s complex technical knowledge. The goal? To create accessible, implementation-independent documentation that helps developers, builders, and enthusiasts understand the protocol beyond the Haskell-specific code.
This Blueprint supports node diversity, transparency, and security by offering clear specs, diagrams, and test data, all open for community contribution via GitHub.
