Cardano Takes Berlin
Don’t forget to turn the CC on for English subtitles!
What happens when you mix curiosity, collaboration and caffeine in the heart of Berlin? You get a weekend where Cardano builders showed up, spoke up, and pushed the envelope.
Set during Berlin Blockchain Week, this grassroots gathering focused on doing what truly matters: building tools, asking the tough questions, and imagining what Cardano can become when it’s shaped by the people who use it every day.
Real Talk, No Filters
Two Roundtable Talks became the pulse of the weekend.
- Friday: Dev tools & the builder experience — what’s missing, what’s working, and where we go next.
- Saturday: Sustainability on-chain — not just eco talk, but how to fund, govern, and evolve the ecosystem without losing its soul.
No keynotes. No scripts. Just real voices, real challenges, and a shared willingness to rethink how we’re building this chain. Stay tuned for this in the Cardano Community YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@CardanoCommunity
Beyond Hype, Into Code
Fresh from the NMKR Hackathon, teams demoed smart, practical prototypes.
One standout? A vocal AI agent that lets users interact with their wallets using natural language. Think: “Send 5 ADA to Anna”—and it happens.
It wasn’t about moonshots. It was about small, sharp tools that make life better for devs and users alike.
Community Holds The Mic – Vol. 2
Back by demand, this series captured bite-sized interviews with developers, designers, and builders across Europe. The mood? Honest, energized, and ready to build. If the mic could talk, it’d ask for a coffee refill and a testnet.
Powered by People
None of this happens without the humans behind the handles.
Big thanks to:
@nmkr_io – for leading with open tooling
@w3_hub – for opening the doors (and the fridges) And to everyone who showed up to speak, code, or just listen.
@Cardano_CF – for presence and perspective

Berlin didn’t give us all the answers, but it gave us better questions.
And that’s a great place to build from.
