In this edition of the Community Digest, we spotlight the retrospective video from Builder Fest #2 in Da Nang, showcasing developers who shared their thoughts on Cardano’s future. We also share Community member Yuta’s detailed summary from the May 7th, 2025, Technical Steering Committee meeting, which covers updates on Leios, LSM delivery, and the launch of the TSC’s new X account for real-time community updates. Plus, we highlight a new tool visualizing Cardano’s stake pool dynamics and share Peter Bui’s tutorial on using a multisig wallet with Eternl Wallet. All this and more in today’s Digest.

Buidler Fest 2025 [Da Nang] - Retrospective

On May 9th, 2025, the Buidler Fest YouTube channel shared a look back at ‘Buidler Fest #2’ in Da Nang, Vietnam. May 7th Technical Steering Committee Meeting – Summary by Yuta

Community member Yuta recently shared a detailed summary from the May 7th, 2025, Technical Steering Committee meeting. The committee discussed several key topics, including updates on Leios and LSM delivery, concerns with the KES Agent, and the launch of the TSC’s official X account, which will serve as the committee’s main platform for sharing direct, real-time updates, milestones, and key announcements with the community. Interactive SvelteKit app visualizing Cardano stake pool saturation and ROI

Community member Cerkoryn and others from the SPO incentive working group recently released a tool that lets you explore how changes to Cardano parameters like k and a₀ could impact decentralization and rewards.

Cerkoryn notes:

Another useful resource is the newly designed Rewards Calculator, which helps SPOs, delegators, and ada holders understand the effects of parameter settings. It was demonstrated and discussed by Dmitry Shibaev, Markus Gufler, and Johnny Kelly during an SPO Table Talk on February 28th, 2025.

CardanoGirls, Linda & LaPetiteADA on the CRYPTO BULLSEYE Podcast

Recently, CardanoGirls Linda and Carolina (aka LaPetiteADA) joined the CRYPTO BULLSEYE podcast where they discussed Cardano’s evolving governance framework, the potential impact of ADA–Bitcoin integration, and the future of Cardano also in terms of scalable solutions, among other topics in a wide-ranging conversation on Cardano’s future. How to Create and Use a Multisig Wallet on Cardano with Eternl Wallet by Peter Bui

Cardano Ambassador Peter Bui recently released a tutorial video on how to create and use a multisig wallet on Cardano with Eternl wallet. The tutorial explains how to set up a multisig wallet, where multiple participants must sign transactions for approval. It covers how to fund the wallet, send assets, and ensure all participants sign. If you’re interested in learning more, check out the full tutorial here.


Constitutional Committee Elections Open Until May 31st

Intersect recently announced that all seven seats on the Constitutional Committee are now open for election, marking the first time the full body will be selected by the Cardano community. Registration is open until May 31st. Voting will take place using a tool that currently supports wallets already compatible with GovTool. Support for hardware wallets and CLI is still in development. Candidates may sign up here.

Cardano Foundation Q1 2025 Report

On May 9th, the Cardano Foundation issued its Q1 2025 report highlighting progress in community engagement, enterprise adoption, and blockchain education. The report covers the launch of the Venture Hub to support Web3 projects, participation in global events like the World Economic Forum to engage with policymakers, and the publication of new research on Cardano’s economic model and secure voting mechanisms. These are among other initiatives detailed in the full report.
