basically the title. running my BP on a bare metal server with a lower end zen 5 core… ive been debating an upgrade for the cpu if it would mean better perfermance for the server. anyone have any experience going to 6 or 8 cores and seeing a benefit?

do you have missed slots during the epoch or only during epoch transition? because the missed slots during epoch transition are normal…
I have this CPU Intel Core i5-9500T @ 2.20GHz with Cores: 6 Threads: 6 and I had before missed slots also during the epoch but this not leaded to missed blocks.
But I set inside cnode.sh (start up script for cntools users) to use more than 2 vCPU (default) and I saw that the missed slots during the epoch are gone
