We’ve been keeping tabs on the official Cardano Explorer and “recommended” new beta version. However, the fact it lags so badly (one of our random checks showed it was more than a week out!), gives the feeling of neglect and/or lack of professionalism focus.
Does this indicate anything or are we being over critical?
This should be a key tool (yes, there are loads of good alternatives) and if it’s not tracking well…
I think constructiv critism is always welcomed.
Im sure the CF is still developing this explorer and are also interested in your opinion.

I’m not directly involved but this is what I best know about:
The Explorer Team had to exchange the whole data provisioning layer of the tool and ran into a couple of challenges while doing so. While we were at it the “old” data layer ran into an edge case with one of the blocks created on June 24.
As best as I know (not fully up to date and not involved in product management) the CF explorer is still developed and supposed to replace the existing legacy explorer frontend.
