I wish to check my main net rewards without having to fire up Daedalus each time. Can someone please advise if there is a way to do this. Perhaps using the Cardano explorer?

Go to pooltool.io and look for your pool. Check the delegation tab for that pool. Look for your contribution. It should show your reward in that table.
