On May 18th, DRMZ Web3 hosted an engaging and informative event featuring guest speaker Adam Dean, co-founder of BuffyBot, NFTxLV, and DripDropz. Held from 1 pm to 4 pm, this gathering focused on Cardano governance and offered a great opportunity for networking, complete with appetizers and drinks. The event took place in a venue with free parking provided for the first three hours, ensuring easy access for all attendees.
The afternoon kicked off with a warm welcome as we helped guests set up their own Cardano wallets, setting the stage for an inclusive and tech-savvy environment. This initial phase was crucial, as it not only equipped attendees with the tools needed to engage more deeply with the Cardano ecosystem but also fostered a sense of community among those new to blockchain technology.
As the event progressed, about 20 people joined us in person, with many more tuning in online to watch Adam Dean stream his presentation live. His talk centered on the intricacies of Cardano governance—a topic of paramount importance to anyone invested in the decentralized future of finance and technology. Adam’s insights provided a deeper understanding of the structures and strategies that underpin effective governance within the Cardano ecosystem.
