EMURGO, the official commercial and venture arm of Cardano has formally announced its entry into the Indian market with the establishment of EMURGO Academy.

Along with local support from Indian government officials and enterprises, EMURGO Academy will train developers and create blockchain experts to expand the usage of blockchain technology.

This strategic business expansion aligns with EMURGO’s philosophy and mission to drive the adoption of the Cardano blockchain ecosystem.

Great news! At the NYC Meetup I asked Manmeet about plans for South Asia/India (I lived in India/Nepal for two years so believe in the region’s future) — He said - ‘just wait and I think you’ll be very pleased’. Love the focus on training people — once again the strategic foresight of Cardano world shines. (Next foundation - Philippines?!)
