Hold it like its gold

The dev’s are looking into it.

yes, but i can’t confirm the last few characters when i copy and paste (or use the ‘copy’ button from daedalus) the address into the binance ‘ADA Withdrawal Address’ box; using the directional arrows, it just stops shy of showing the complete address–it’s too long or something else is going on.

I think maybe the ui of binance does not allow to display more than x characters in the box. I suggest you send 3 ada to test it. I can’t confirm on the binance ui since I’m not home now. But I will have a look as soon as I’m behind my computer.

After adding a label and your wallet address it should store the value and have it available as a pre-populated address. Select the drop-down and there should be a scroll bar that will allow you to verify the full address.

I’m using Chrome on a Mac, btw. It may differ across browsers.

also, i was wondering if there was a way to store the daedalus wallet on a thumb drive a/o if you needed it stored on your computer to be eligible for any rewards.

…and can daedalus do paper wallets?

I believe that’s all part of their roadmap… read more here: https://cardanoroadmap.com/

Regarding the proof of stake which takes into account the number of ADA you already have.

Does this ADA have to be in the same single address, or wallet? or multiple wallets on single instance of Daedalus running?

Reason I ask is because I have 2 wallets and wondering if it would be better to consolidate all the ADA into 1 single wallet?

You will have a unique wallet used for staking (see the screenshots on the roadmap), and yes it would be best to consolidate your ADA you want to stake in to this wallet, as it is the most profitable solution.

@ravichopra why are you saying the following?

To be on safer side, you just don’t transfer :ada: from exchange to wallet or vice-versa till Shelley phase is properly launched.

I think it is safer to leave my ADAs in Daedalus at the moment… look what happened with the disabled wallets recently

I totally agree with you and every time it goes down I try to buy a little more

Ja stimmt, wenn man die Daedalus Adresse bei Binance einfügt, werden nicht alle Zeichen angezeigt. Es funktioniert aber trotzdem. Es werden alle Zeichen korrekt eingefügt, man sieht nur nicht alle.
