strange - I dont know why we have not got values right away… I thought the problem could be that there is no transactions submitted on the testnet - but that is not true - there are many…
Great that is working now…
The problem was me perhaps. I restarted the pods, but I did not inmediatly add the label for pods in order to get selected by the service that expose the metrics…

ok - shutting down my node - probably you can test whether there are ongoing tx-s without any incoming connection…
