How to set up a POOL in a few minutes - and register using CNTOOLS

and for nano ${HOME}/.bashrc
do you have at the end …

export CNODE_HOME=/opt/cardano/cnode

This is what I have at the end of that file:

image

ok, can u delete the last 2 lines

and here cd ~/.cabal
ls -l
you have only bin folder?

also u can remove ~/.local folder

sudo rm -R ~/.local/bin

Correct, only bin
image

I removed /.local/bin

and you deleted the last 2 lines from bashrc right?

now, repeat again step 1 and 2
tell me the result

No difference… same errors…
./prereqs.sh:
image

$CNODE_HOME/scripts/cabal-build-all.sh -o:
image

I feel bad for taking your time if its easier for me to just wipe it and start over I will…

yeah, no problem, I have some upgrades for work, better to start again… tell me the result… I am here for next 4 hours

cheers,

Thanks for your help on this. I won’t be able to start over until tomorrow - I’m actually just about to leave work.
Thank you again! I’m sure you’ll see me again in the comments.

I have opened up everything on a new port but I can not connect from the new port. when I check the status it says that it is listening on that port.

yes, but it is possible to have another fw in cloud?

fw in the cloud?

are u using AWS servers?

No, google cloud

then, check the FW from google cloud.

I can now log in but not with my new user I created?

what do you mean? when you are traying to ssh?

When I am trying to connect via ssh I can not login with the new user I created in the beginning steps.

impossible, can u login with your old user?

yes the old user works on the new port now.
