Cardano Node install guide or tutorial

Where can I find a good and well-explained guide or tutorial to how to install a Cardano Node?

Which Linux distro is suggested and what are the hardware minimal requirements?

Can I trust on this guide?

Just approached on Cardano world.

That guide is fine. There is also the coincashew guide (Google will get you there) and there are good guides here on the forum. The cntools method by cardano guild is good too.

Talking about just the lucrative side, how much can I roughly earn pledging 1000 ADA?

You might first want to understand your odds of finding a block:

Each block rewards about 750 ada.

USE THIS ONE its perfect

I would also suggest the CNTOOLS guide from Alex. Great guide.

As for hardware I would recommend going with at least 4 cores and 16GB of ram. Better to be future proof with smart contracts coming in summertime. I use Ubuntu server 20.04.

Do you mean a pledge of 10000ADA (10k) or 1000ADA(1k). If the latter then I think you need around 5300days to get a block! Assuming no other stake but the 1k you pledged.

Realistically 0.00 I am affraid. You’ll be most likely better off simply delegating to an already running pool. Then you make around 5%p.a.

So, what’s the benefit to run a Cardano Node if I’ll get more revenue just delegate my 1000 ADA (1k)?

A benefit for me was to be able to mint NFTs

How can you mint NFTs running a Cardano Node? Could you explain?

Here are a couple of helpful guides

How much can you earn minting NFTs?

I earn nothing! I am doing it for fun!

There are some SPOs that have created a web app for minting NFTs and they charge a fee ADA.
