Our Catalyst proposal delivers a vibrant, interactive platform to teach grassroots communities about Cardano in an engaging and entertaining way. Unlike traditional, static methods like slides or lectures that overwhelm beginners, we’re creating animated lessons, interactive quizzes, and a dynamic glossary to simplify blockchain concepts. With a budget of ₳45,000 over 6 months, this off-chain, web-based platform requires no prior blockchain knowledge, making it inclusive for learners in Africa, and beyond, while being scalable globally.
We’re revolutionizing learning by prioritizing fun and participation. Short, colorful animations use culturally relevant stories to make Cardano relatable, while gamified quizzes with instant feedback keep learners engaged. An illustrated, searchable glossary simplifies terms, and an educator toolkit empowers teachers to lead interactive workshops. By leveraging insights from my 20+ meetups in Ghana and Kenya, where I’ve onboarded many grassroots, we ensure content resonates with grassroots audiences, fostering active participation over passive learning.
Led by me, a Cardano Ambassador with a proven track record in the cardano community, this project drives Cardano’s adoption and decentralization. Success metrics include onboarding many, training educators in at least two countries, and achieving high engagement, with transparent updates shared on the Cardano Forum, X, and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@cardanoafricaacademy).
