In the spirit of the community’s first representation within the Intersect Organization and the Cardano ecosystem at large, I Abdulrahman Abdulbasit Adigun, Founder of Next Trend Labs hereby present myself as an aspirant in two committees of the Intersect MBO ongoing electioneering process.
I applied to the civic committe because of my long-standing advocacy for human rights and freedoms with fair judgment. My keen interest in fostering transparency and oversight is found in my ability to ensure consensus in the decision-making process, which should be one of the fundamentals of a civil society.
I respect authority but I will disagree with all manners of violation of the fundamental rights of any community members or organizations I belong to in a civil and constructive manner while exploring diplomacy to achieve a common and unified goal. These attributes of mine inspired me to step forward to contest in the Intersect Civic committe pool.
Also, my inspiration to put forward an application for a seat on the Intersect steering committee is not far from my experience leading the NexTrend Labs team, and its broader community with the mission of Buiding on Cardano Blockchain, products that solve societal problems.
Next Trend Labs is an institution leveraging the power of blockchain technology and Artificial Intelligence, it necessarily expected to have various departments ranging from a Research Group, Developers Group, Event and Planning Group, Marketing Group, and other sub-committees, my ability to work with and lead each of these departments to achieve a common interest best positions me as a suitable candidate for the Intersect Steering Committee with the mission to be the governing body of all committees and the bridge between the committees and the intersect board members.
I am not 100% perfect naturally as expected of a human being, I can make mistakes, I can make wrong decisions, and I can be skeptical to take certain actions most importantly if it’s to sacrifice the benefits of many to serve the minority even when consensus is reached. But my strengths lie in my ability to accept my mistakes and make adjustments where necessary!
With respect to all of this, I solicit the support of the Intersect community to vote for a community first seat in all of the committees.
