Summary

We hosted this event to raise awareness about CIP-1694, GovTools and Delegated Representative in Indonesia. Our goal is to share knowledge about Governance Actions and what people could do with GovTools. Other than that, we are interested to discuss deeply more about Governance in Cardano blockchain.

Our event was posted also in the Upcoming DReps Workshop of DRep Pioneer Program.

During the 1st session, I explained about how to create Cardano wallet in Preview testnet using Eternl. And how people could grab the tADA from the faucet. Then I started to give a tour to GovTools Preview. Starting from how to register as Direct Voter, deregister as Direct Voter, register as DRep, deregister as DRep, delegate to other DRep ID, view Governance Actions, and how to draft/propose a Governance Action.

In addition, I also explained about Governance Actions from CIP-1694. And what’s the purpose of each Governance Actions do.

Then in the 2nd session, we discussed about code of conduct for DRep, several scheme for DRep reward and more into depth discussion about Governance in Voltaire era. At the end of 2nd session, we also had a Q&A session with the participants.
