I will slowly try to seep into Cardano Forum and provide insights for those who find their way into Cardano by reading through forums. This Topic will be used for a series of Intersect Town Hall announcements and updates; I will also monitor this to gather feedback and help people to orient.
We’re excited to announce that the Intersect Town Hall is just a few days away! It will take place on October 24th at the same time as the Cardano Summit. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the Cardano community, reflect on the network’s achievements, and discuss the latest announcements.
This week, The Town Hall’s primary focus is to discuss topics shared in the Cardano Summit and some networking between those who attend. The After Town Hall topics will be decided on using a Zoom poll.
In addition, we will have a special guest from Core Infrastructure Builders, to share progress on Recursive Zero-Knowledge Proofs. More info on what Galois has done before Blockchain Technologies - Galois, Inc.
We’re also gathering insights through our ongoing Intersect Town Hall survey. Your feedback is invaluable as we continue to improve and grow. If you haven’t had the chance yet, you can participate here: Town Hall Survey

Open Source Office/Committee is making strong progress on the Contribution Ladder and Project Incubation documentation.
Intersect Staff shares insights from local Annual Members Meetings and statistics on how Committee Elections went.
James Parker from Galois shared core infrastructure updates about Recursive Zero-Knowledge Proofs.
Our Zoom topic was “What strategies are needed to build and sustain a skilled blockchain workforce?” We found that we need to focus on onboarding and creating trust through interactive tools and shared practices. Our discussions covered innovative approaches to decentralised project management, the importance of inclusivity in decision-making and the use of AI tools. Our discussion highlights the importance of community events, practical planning frameworks and documentation of collective experiences.
At the last town hall, we analysed specific questions to measure: “How well does Intersect support the development of antifragile governance in Cardano?”
Here is one takeaway:
Intersect has built acceptable foundations for governance and reputation-building, but the lack of clarity, predictability, and onboarding structure creates significant barriers for newcomers and marginalised voices.

Feel free to comment and add more analysis to the mix. We will share the updates in the next Town Hall on 23rd January.

This Town Hall will focus on sharing plans, goals, and ideas for 2025.
Let’s explore the work ahead and connect it with our broader goals.
The ITH Summary is now finalized and includes both After Town Halls Session Summaries.
What’s next for Intersect Town Hall?
The meeting focused on engagement challenges within Intersect, particularly the lack of awareness about Town Halls among new members and communication gaps with the broader community. Discussions covered outreach issues, differing motivations within Committees, and concerns about governance culture. The Swarm Town Hall team plans to provide resources and incentives for decentralised facilitation to fill gaps. Milestone reporting and grant process experiences were reviewed, along with potential legal frameworks for contributor rewards. Key documents, including the Town Hall 2025 Proposal and Playbook, were shared for further insights.

Francophone Corner: Questions & Answers here
The meeting focused on strengthening French-speaking participation within Intersect, addressing language barriers, and clarifying membership opportunities. Discussions highlighted Intersect’s structure, grant programs, and the importance of active engagement to enhance representation in the Cardano ecosystem. Participants were encouraged to join Discord, participate in initiatives, and take on leadership roles to ensure the community’s voice is heard and included in strategic decisions.

Well there seems to be no Intersect Town Hall for now and it seemed a bit awkward to continue carry on that space without any push energy, but Intersect is still using the same links in all their Town Hall onboarding flows.
Created Town Hall SIG.
The Town Hall SIG will meet on next Tuesday, January 25, at 16:00 UTC on Zoom.
This is a Special Interest Group where the Town Hall Contributors and Participants get together and reflect on experiences and learnings we have had throughout the last several months of Town Halls. After reflection its good moment to see where could we focus next to add value.
