If the policy is locked, you can’t mint anymore. Since metadata can only be attached to minting transactions, you can also not change the metadata for a locked policy anymore. Not possible. Sorry.
Thanks for your time. It is still in my possession and is not sold. What is my option if I want it not go into circulation with incorrect metadata?
Mint totally new NFTs with the correct metadata. They will automatically have a new policy ID, since the original one is locked. So, they won’t clash with the other ones.
You can’t burn the old ones, since the policy is locked. So, you will have to leave them lying around. If you can afford the ADA that are needed to accompany them and you don’t want to see them, move them to some kind of trash address (e.g., specifically created for that purpose on the command line).
