Is it possible to lock an existing Policy ID?

Hi,

I mint some tokens a few weeks ago and I would like to know if its possible to lock the policy ID? And if someone can help me with the process or if there is any guide? Because I’ve been searching but couldn’t find anything.

It is not possible.

The policy ID is a hash of the policy. If it did not contain a locking when it was created, you can’t add one later. That would change the policy and lead to a different policy ID.

Search ur token by asset on pool.pm → click on policy and check when the policy will be locked…
If its not what u wanted u can burn the tokens, create a new policy (this time with lock period) and mint the tokens again
