I am investigating hardware wallets and use of them. My question is, if I lose my hardware wallet can I recover my ADA using another software wallet? Is there a way to recover a lost hardware wallet?
I ask cause what if I lose it or it floats away in a flood?

Buy another hw wallet and restore it using the seed words from flooded/lost one
U can’t use the ledger seed words to restore ADA software wallets
Thank you and that makes me a lot more settled in my thoughts. I am seeing a flip coming and it makes me nerviois to have a wallet on a device even.

don’t be, as log u are keeping the seed words safe (away from the internet) you should be fine even you are using daedalus, yoroi or a hardware wallet
also don’t install any suspicious apps on your machine
