I’ve got the Plutus book on pre-order.
Here is a secret: if you learn Haskel, you don’t need Plutus. Smart contracts can be written in Haskel but some portion of the code will compline into Plutus.
In essence Plutus is just a restricted form of Haskel. So… learn Haskel.
Aware of that but I prefer a book by IOHK staff and with examples related to smart contracts. Since I read a lot I prefer to do it effectively. Learning is not the challange for me I have learned anything I put my mind into but learning effectively is.
