Hey everyone,
It’s been awhile since I looked at my wallet (I have some long term investments that I generally don’t want to trade, just hold) and saw that my ADA now lists migration required. The instructions in trust wallet say I should be able to migrate a certain way but that method has now dissapeared.
I’m looking for support article but just can’t seem to find any. Am I too late on this? Are my coins now trash?
The most easiest way is to transfer your ADA to Binance and then withdraw them with the correct network (i would really recommand to use the Cardano network with a Cardano wallet like Typhon).
According to https://www.bnbchain.org/en/bnb-chain-fusion, it should still be possible to migrate from BNB Beacon Chain to BNB Smart Chain directly without going through Binance for a couple of days.
But, honestly, ask their support. Cardano has very little to do with ADA wrapped on other chains.
You think support from Cardano or support from Binance would be best? Thanks for the assistance here. I’m scared to make the wrong move, as everyone can probably guess from my questions
As said, Cardano support can’t help you on BNB Chains.
As far as I understood it, they claim that BNB is somehow independent from Binance, so maybe one of the contacts on their site? (There are X, Telegram, and Discord linked in the footer.)
It does still work, but I have no BNB (BEP2) to cover gas fees so I’m screwed. I’ve been looking all weekend for a p2p to trade. I literally need like 40 cents to recover thousands in ADA. I’m so upset
Im not sure if this works anymore but a few years ago you didnt have to go through a KYC process on Binance if you only deposited a small amount. So it might work if you use a VPN, register on Binance (not Binance.US), send some funds there and then you would be able to withdraw BNB on BEP2 network.
