We (humanity) are fucked.

Among the potential existential threats are:

  1. AI: could take control over everything on the internet.

  2. Nuclear war.

  3. Global warming (is going to cull billions of humans, if not the whole lot).

All of which are “unnatural”/caused by human interference.

Nah I think they just failed hard just like everyone who tried to build AI before them and wanted to save face and pr spin it into a success. Harry Potter written by AI is a good example showing how far we are from mastering anything that is remotely close to AI.
