Governance Beliefs and Motivation

:hearts:I firmly believe that good governance begins with empowering every individual and ensuring that their voices are heard in a system built on fairness and respect. Decentralized governance is not just a concept but a foundation for creating systems where decisions are made collectively, reflecting the diverse perspectives of a global community. By fostering inclusivity, safeguarding dissenting opinions, and encouraging open participation, we can create a governance structure that is not only efficient but also just.

:hearts:Transparency and accountability are the cornerstones of trust. Without them, no system can truly flourish. I believe in clear, open communication about decisions, processes, and resource allocation to build confidence and collaboration across the Cardano community. Equally important is the protection of diversity—ensuring that even minority voices are valued, respected, and integrated into decision-making. This inclusivity strengthens the resilience and adaptability of any governance framework.

:hearts:Education is another pillar of my governance philosophy. A well-informed community is an empowered one. By promoting education about governance, blockchain technology, and the Cardano ecosystem, we can equip individuals to make decisions that not only benefit themselves but also contribute to the collective good. Education fuels innovation, broadens participation, and ultimately drives sustainable development.

:hearts:As a DRep, my motivation stems from a deep-rooted passion for decentralized governance and a strong commitment to Cardano’s transformative potential. I have been inspired by the unique opportunities that blockchain technology offers to create systems that promote fairness, equality, and innovation. Witnessing Cardano’s growth and challenges firsthand has strengthened my resolve to contribute meaningfully to its future.

:hearts:My journey with Cardano is defined by a desire to connect communities and ideas. I aim to break down language barriers and foster broader participation in Cardano’s ecosystem.

These initiatives are part of my broader vision to grow the DRep community in these regions and enable greater local involvement in Cardano’s decentralized governance. I believe that by increasing the number of active and knowledgeable DReps, we can strengthen the foundation of Cardano’s governance system and build a more resilient, inclusive ecosystem.

:hearts:Transparency and fairness guide my approach to decision-making. I am committed to ensuring that my voting decisions as a DRep are well-informed and reflect the best interests of the community. I prioritize proposals that drive real-world adoption of Cardano’s technology, support sustainable development, and ensure responsible use of treasury funds. Every action I take is rooted in the belief that transparency fosters trust, and trust is essential for progress.

:hearts:Beyond governance, I am passionate about connecting blockchain technology with real-world applications. I aim to foster innovation and collaboration by engaging businesses, universities, and communities with Cardano’s ecosystem. By doing so, I hope to create opportunities for growth, learning, and long-term impact.

:hearts:In everything I do, my ultimate goal is to help Cardano realize its full potential as a global catalyst for positive change. I am committed to building a vibrant, inclusive, and informed community where every member has the opportunity to contribute meaningfully. Together, through collaboration, education, and innovation, we can create a brighter future powered by decentralized governance and blockchain technology.

:star:My Background and Aspirations: A Vision for Blockchain and Real Asset Management

:hearts:I am a seasoned professional in real asset management, with over 14 years of experience in the field. Currently, I am privileged to work with Daiwa House Group - Japan, where I have honed my expertise in managing complex assets and navigating the intricate challenges of this industry. Through my journey, I have developed a deep understanding of the nuances, difficulties, and inefficiencies that often arise in traditional asset management systems.

:hearts:As we stand on the cusp of a decentralized future, I am driven by a profound aspiration: to integrate blockchain technology into the realm of real asset management and transition toward on-chain governance. This vision stems from a belief that blockchain holds immense potential to revolutionize how assets are managed, tracked, and governed. Yet, with my extensive background, I also recognize the limitations and challenges of applying on-chain solutions to real-world asset management. It is my hope to bridge this gap—to identify and address the discrepancies that may arise, ensuring that on-chain management is not only innovative but also practical and effective for real assets.

:hearts:My passion for this transformative work is deeply personal. I see a world where decentralization empowers individuals and communities, breaking down traditional barriers and fostering trust through transparency. By contributing my expertise to the Cardano ecosystem and the DRep community, I aim to play a small but meaningful role in advancing this global movement.

:hearts:Importantly, my motivation is not driven by financial gain. My primary source of income comes from my role at Daiwa House Group, and my involvement with the DRep community is a testament to my commitment to the ideals of decentralization and collective progress. I am here to serve, not to profit.

:hearts:Your vote holds immense power—it is not just a mark on a ledger but a voice in shaping the decentralized ecosystem of the future. If you trust in my experience, dedication, and vision, I would be honored to represent your aspirations. Together, we can contribute to a system that values fairness, transparency, and the empowerment of every individual.

:hearts:In my role as a DRep, I strive to embody the principles of trust, accountability, and inclusivity. I approach every decision with care, ensuring that it aligns with the best interests of the community and upholds the values that define a decentralized future. Your support not only affirms my commitment but also reinforces the collective strength of this community.

:hearts:Let us work together to build a world where decentralization becomes the cornerstone of progress, and blockchain technology transforms industries, communities, and lives.
:pray:please follow me

Nice introduction @cardano.ngoc! You forgot to substitute “[DREP ID]”, in the beginning of the introduction, with your actual DRep ID so that people can easily find and delegate to you.

Hello.@kostas Thank you for pointing out my shortcomings. I’m currently experiencing an issue with my Drep ID. I registered my Drep on gov.tool and connected it to the Eternl wallet. However, I noticed that the transaction fee is 1 ADA / transaction, whereas other Dreps using the Yoroi wallet only incur a fee of 0.17 ADA/ transaction. Therefore, I am considering switching Eternl wallets, but each wallet corresponds to a unique and unchangeable Drep ID. As a result, I believe I may need to create a new Drep ID. Do you have any advice for me?

I am not aware of the different “charges” per wallet. Usually my transactions in both wallets costs around $0.17. In any case, you don’t have to create a new DRep ID. You can simply open the same wallet in yoroi (via the restore wallet option). In fact you can restore & operate the same wallet address in more than one wallets (at the same time; you don’t have to delete or remove eternl).
I hope that helps. If you need anything else just let me know!
