Papers - where do begin?

Howdy folks,

Seems like that the Cardano project consists of a whole lot of papers and technologies. If I want to get started on the papers, where should I start? I would love to learn about the foundation of it.

The whitepaper itself is probably the place to start. I’d go for the Ouroboros paper next if you want to understand what’s at the heart of the ADA blockchain.
