Cardano Rolled Up Its Sleeves in México
Don’t forget to turn the CC on for English subtitles!
Azteca 2025 was more than just an event. It was a statement: the Cardano Community in Mexico is ready to lead, build, and connect. Held at the Puebla Convention Center and the Universidad Autónoma de Tlaxcala, the gathering brought together over 400 attendees from across different universities and community members from Latin America, students, professors, developers, entrepreneurs, and blockchain enthusiasts, with a shared mission: decentralization, impact, and adoption.
Organized by Cardano Mexico Community and Latam Cardano Community, and funded by Project Catalyst, Azteca 2025 was made possible thanks to the Community and the collaboration of Cardano Foundation, IOG Education Team, and Intersect. The event succeeded in doing what many aspire to: build a real bridge between community, entities, technology, and promote regional growth.
Rooted in Identity, Driven by Purpose
From the moment you stepped in, the energy was different. The visual design honored Mexica heritage and gave the event a soul that felt local and proudly global.
Across two days, May 27 and 29, participants connected through talks, panels, workshops, and spontaneous hallway conversations. It was a space where first-timers mingled with OGs, and ideas flowed as freely as the coffee and the tacos.
