Hi Community! I am delighted to share the success of the Cardano Summit 2024 Community-Led Event (CLE) held in Tamale, Ghana, on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Hopin Academy.
The event brought together blockchain enthusiasts, developers, and community members to explore the transformative potential of blockchain technology, particularly on the Cardano ecosystem.
Event Overview
- Registrations: The event attracted considerable interest, with over 70 registrations, and we were pleased to host 50+ participants who actively engaged throughout the day at ht e Hopin Academy.
- Speakers: Four esteemed speakers delivered impactful presentations, each providing unique insights into various aspects of the Cardano blockchain.
Speaker Sessions
- Afia Owusu: Spoke about Intersect and how participants can get involved.
- Mohammed Mustapha Yakubu: Highlighted the vision, goals, and use cases of Cardano and also spoke about cardano’s governacnce.
- Jeremiah Baani: Presented on Cardano’s Project Catalyst, how it has evolved and the meaningful ways stakeholders can actively get involved in the various catalyst related activities.
- Seidu Ziblim: Concluded by presenting on cardano’s CBA course and encouraged attendees to enroll and study this course as well.
Impact and Feedback
The summit successfully introduced participants to the foundational concepts of blockchain and Cardano’s ecosystem while providing practical tools for engagement. Attendees expressed appreciation for the interactive sessions, the diversity of topics, and the opportunity to network with other blockchain enthusiasts.
This event was a testament to the growing interest and commitment to blockchain development in Northern Ghana. The Tamale community has demonstrated immense potential to become a significant hub for blockchain innovation.
