Hi guys, I was just wondering if we could start a thread or if someone could point me to some information to make sure the BP specifically is running optimally and what changes can be made to run a more efficient node.
After some googling no obvious results were found other than general server maintenance configurations and setups.

In general there is not much can can do about the software performance itself. You can just work on the Hardware (Cores, RAM, IO) or the Haskell Configuration.
