Spending password with hardware wallets?

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to have a spending password with a hardware wallet?

I used to have a spending password before hardware support. Now to can’t seem to find this option.

Am I missing anything? Please help.

No, hardware wallets do not need spending password in Yoroi/Daedalus since unlike hot wallets, the private keys are not on Yoroi/Daedalus - you need to confirm the transaction on your hardware device itself.

Your hardware wallet should require a pin to unlock, then verification and confirmation of transactions are performed on the hardware device itself.
