Hi! I’ve set up cardano-node and querying the tip now and it looks like I’m synced up to the preview testnet. However I’m confused because it says the block and epoch match the latest block on Preview Blocks - Cardanoscan, but the epochs don’t match up.
It says my slot is “6214555”, but the slot on cardanoscan is “80155”… everything else on the latest block matches though.
Can someone please help me understand why these are different? Thanks!
If you click on a particular block, you’ll see that there is “Epoch / Slot”. There you have the 80155, which is the number of the slot in this epoch and the 6214555, which is the absolute number of the slot since the beginning of Cardano.
