The CIPs GitHub repository needs 26 more stars

The cardano-foundation/CIPs GitHub repository is the home for Cardano’s standards (Cardano Improvement Proposals): a growing archive of documents authored by Cardano organisations, developers, and community members.

It represents 4 years of work to maintain a standards archive on par with those of other leading cryptocurrencies, while including community participation, engagement and audit as a top priority. This year has produced a Wiki detailing how individuals can participate in the process, from a simple level of understanding up through reviewing others’ CIPs and perhaps writing their own:

https://github.com/cardano-foundation/CIPs/wiki

The content here is essential knowledge for Cardano advocates — especially with the crucial role CIPs will play in the governance process: to produce governance propositions that stand up to community audit. Yet during our governance launch, the content remains excluded from Internet search due to its GitHub repository not having 500 stars yet:

Note: Search engines will only index wikis with 500 or more stars that you configure to prevent public editing.

At the time of this writing the repository only has 474 stars, so we are very close to the CIP Wiki being enabled for search engines. Please read Wiki content to your satisfaction and star the repository, and we will be at 500 stars soon… and feel free to follow the links to the Discord for the meetings & discussions that have always been open to public participation and enquiry. :slightly_smiling_face:
