Hello, I’m new to Cardano ecosystem and in general with crypto. I tried to use the ecosystem but it has some REAL issues. Any time you try to seek help from these DApps, the only thing available to try to get some help, are Discord hyperlinks on the official website. These Discord channels are full of scammers which impersonate group managers and pretend to help you resolve your issue. But you get no help from the actual official website at all!
I had a real issue, I used Bodega Market, which is listed on the official DApps when you use Lace walle, Lace.io official X account also has promoted Bodega Market in the past. Everything cool, but when I actually used the platform (which is for placing bets predicting future events), I won a bet but didn’t get my reward. While trying to get some help, because it was a real issue in the platform, the only thing available was a discord channel in which I wasn’t able to post, I completed the verification but still got no permission to post. Anyways some the only help I received was an impersonator of the group chat and stole all my funds while doing the troubleshooting process.
Major issue if cardano tries to attract new people (retail) and actually use their DApps. when you need help from these DApps, the only ones you can contact are scammers on their official Discord channels. I gave my recovery phrase, but of course I’m sort of new and these people pray on us. NEVER give your seed phrase even if it seems someone trustful and even if you have a real issue you are trying to fix.
I lost all my funds, and pretty much my life is ruined. If you see this, and want to help me, this is another addess I have. This is the only cardano community I found. Telegram is full of scammers as well.
