Tibi from Sensorica

Hellow everyone,

You call me Tibi. I’m new to this Forum, but not new to p2p and to Cardano. I’ve been involved in p2p since 2010, co-founding one of the first, if not THE first, material peer production network: www.sensorica.co
What is material peer production? Think about open source software development, Wikipedia and Bitcoin as decentralized, transparent and permissionless digital production organizations and processes. We built our material peer production model based on the digital peer production patterns that evolved since the 90’, which were being applied to open source hardware development with the advent of open source 3D printing, microcontrollers like Arduino, DIY drones and others. In essence, our goal is to develop protocols that open networks can use to design and produce hardware in a sustainable way. You can learn more about our OVN model here http://ovn.world

When we started in late 2010 - early 2011, Bitcoin was just a little game in a dark corner of the Internet. We built our network using web2 tools and built a server-client application for stewarding material resources as an open network. Sensorica has accumulated 15 years of uninterrupted experience in material peer production, refining organizational structure, governance, economic models and digging a niche in today’s economy, while looking forward through the transition to a more networked future economy.
Currently, we are developing relations with various p2p communities to use the new protocols and their primitives in order to re-build our digital infrastructure to sustain our operations, and help the p2p economy as a whole. We know what we need and we’re looking for partners.
Sensorica has some ongoing projects, or open ventures as we like to call them, which can provide a very fertile ground/context for infrastructure development. Some of these projects tackle high impact issues, which can bring a lot of attention on Cardano.
If you are working on bridging the digital–physical divide and are passionate about developing digital infrastructure to support material peer production let’s talk
