Hello Alex:
I have followed those instructions, and I installed on one relay, have not issued the deploy-as-systemd.sh command yet, but I am running ./sLView from the $CNODE_HOME/scripts directory and I don’t see that it is syncing, the peers out/in are 0/0 so is the epoch and block.
Any advice. Its been there for 13 mins.
Thanks

do u mean ./gLiveView.sh right? U should see starting… for more than 1 hour…

Can u share the output?

I am running ./sLiveView.sh, should I run the ./gLiveView.sh instead

Ofcourse… ./gLiveView.sh

On the relays I used to run the ./sLiveView that way I was able to see the syncing, but ok I will run the gLiveView instead and see.
I ran thg GLiveView, and peers are 0/0, status: starting

Yes, now u will neeed to wait from 30 minutes to few hours…

the run deploy-as-systemd.sh and continue with other relays, then the BP, any special instruction for the bp, it has CNTOOLS

Wait till will done… and till u will see peers
Deploy as systemd… no special actions for BP

exactly,’
and i wonder why i had the same issue…

additionally, i have 2 nodes with path usr/local/bin and
one node is /home/user/.cabal/bin

i really wonder how that happened.

Nothing special to do for CNTOOLS?, Should I have the cold keys in BP ?

Nope, u don’t have to

@Alexd1985 - First of all thank you for your help out here.
I have started a new relay from snapshot to just test out the upgrade and it went fine. Now, I am thinking to just copy the DB folder from this test realy to my mainet relay. In short to follow this.

Upgrade mainnet relay with 1.26.1 → copy DB folder from test relay to mainnet relay → start mainnet relay

I want to do this to reduce the DB sync time post upgrade, do you see any issues with this approach?

Great… u have the testnet relay running on 1.26.1 right?

can u restart the server to test if will start again the node?

before reboot check

cardano-cli - -version
cardano-node - -version

Yes, testnet relay is on 1.26.1 and I restarted got sync quickly.

U restarted the all server? Not the cnode service

I restarted only cnode. Just curious, why I need to start the all server?

Ok, I will test it in 2 days when I go home… I think after server reboot the node will not start anymore and I was curious if it’s really happens

Is it because of 1.26.1 upgrade?
