VM - Help Increase Disk space on Oracle VirtualBox

Hello,

I’m running Linux on Oracle VirtualBox and ran out of disk space. I followed a simple tutorial to increase the disk size but it’s not taking effect on the VM…

My node just crashed and Disk space has 0 MB remaining.

It looks like there is some type or separation where the {3ab2a21…}.vdi does NOT seem to be connected to the 80 GB of Virtual size.

Any ideas??

I ended up deleting the drive and starting over.

Hi ok, if you have the issue again it is likely you need to grow the filesystem inside your vm. The command will depend on the type of filesystem you use. Let me know if you want to know more.
