A couple months ago I found out another blockchain project had made a rational decision: “Let’s not reinvent the wheel. We don’t need to develop our own staking protocol. Let’s just use Ouroboros.”
It’s not Polkadot. The only thing I remember about the project is that they were keeping things simple. Has anyone else heard of them?
Was it NYM ? They are using Ouroboros in some capacity I think.
There is (or was) a company running Ouroboros as a side chain on Ethereum.
They were providing services for casinos and gambling websites. I think they are called Spades or Sp8ds or something like that.
It might have been NYM. I do remember the name of the project was only three letters, which I assumed were initials, but I couldn’t remember what they were.
