Blockchain Finance for Social Good: Supporting the United Nations Social Development Goals
The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”. They are bringing these SDG’s into the world of blockchain by presenting a challenge at the Wyoming Hackathon, and IOHK is supporting this initiative by sponsoring the prize (up to $10,000 remitted in Cardano’s ada) as well as ongoing development support to the winning projects.
We encourage the Cardano community to come up with ideas and get involved!
About the Challenge
- Your solution must be open source and developed using the Marlowe Playground
- Unlike most hackathons, the key requirement is the production of a slide deck, outlining the problem you have identified, how your solution addresses it and how it could advance the achievement of the UN’s Social Development Goals.
- Although a comprehensive and full codebase is not required, you should include sufficient example code to demonstrate the effectiveness of your solution.
