I have now flagged more than 200 youtube giveaway scams. I have noticed that the content is replaced by something. It sould be a legitimate video, a cute cat or something completely unrelated.
And that gave me an idea.what if the links remained valid and pointed to a video warning about giveaway scams. In fact, youtube could put such a warning in the videos where content has been replaced
Sadly it makes absolutly no sense to report those kinds of videos because if one of those gets taken down, there are already 2 news out there…
If Youtube doesnt want to fix that problem, theres nothing we can do expect to educate our community.
Right. However, there is a chance that some people will watch the warning videos before they view the newly minted ones.
I assume these people have automated the entire process.
