BP & Relay IP Address Allocation

Since the block production node will only be connected to the pools relay nodes. Does the BP need a public IP address if we are routing the traffic only from the BP node to the relay nodes or can it be a private IP?

I am assuming the two relay nodes will need to have static IPs or can we use dynamic IPs and a dedicated cname? I am not sure how the nodes are communicating with public Ips or names.

We are wondering the same… Both our BPs and Relays are behind an advanced router, but they have the same Public IP address…

Our relays are synced and at the tip, but the BP won’t sync and shows 0 peers. Our topology.json points to the public IP address, which is the same on the Relay and BP… Any help appreciated.
