Cannot register to Catalyst Community on IdeaScale

Have been trying to register into Catalyst community on IdeaScale to submit a proposal and even though I select the register link on the login portal, and enter my registration info on the registration page, I receive no registration confirmation email to my inbox or in my junk folder.

Is there a requirement for a business domain email or do I need to have a Daedalus wallet already in order to register into Catalyst?

I managed to resolve this issue myself. Turns out I was registering while logged into Chrome browser and trying to register using an email address that was different from my GMail account.
