On Saturday, September 21, the Cardano Ghana Community successfully hosted its first Cardano Governance Nexus Workshop Webinar via Zoom. This exciting event brought together enthusiasts and contributors to explore the future of decentralized governance on the Cardano network.
Mohammed Mustapha Yakubu delivered an insightful presentation on CIP 1694 parameters, breaking down the foundational governance structures that will guide the Voltaire era. He provided an overview of how the Cardano community can contribute to key decision-making processes as we move toward full decentralization.
Seidu Ziblim followed with a comprehensive session on Delegated Representatives (DReps), highlighting the importance of DReps in the governance process and explaining the registration process and how community members can become active in this vital role.
We are excited to see increased participation and enthusiasm for governance within the Cardano community in Ghana and beyond. If you missed the live session, you can catch the recording here - https://youtu.be/YVhrHTYSivI?si=QNo7y0NQZ-bXBbnC
