Cardano at World Economic Forum 2020
For the second year in a row, the Cardano Foundation attended and spoke at various events in Davos during the World Economic Forum (WEF2020). During 20–24 January 2020, the Cardano Foundation spoke about the benefits of adoption of Cardano – the first blockchain platform developed for smart contracts based on a scientific philosophy, and contributed to the global conversation about the wider social good that blockchain can bring to the sustainable socio-economic development of the planet.
Thinking about challenges ahead, a delegation of bright minds of the Cardano Foundation, IOHK and EMURGO were in Davos during WEF2020:
- Nathan Kaiser.
- Hinrich Pfeifer.
- Bakyt Azimkanov.
- Domino Burki.
- Charles Hoskinson.
- Tamara Haasen.
- Rod Alexander.
- Jerry Fragiskatos.
- Manmeet Singh.
Our objectives at Davos during WEF2020 were to identify opportunities for:
- Drive adoption.
- Shape legislation and commercial standards.
- Grow Cardano’s community.
- Facilitate partnerships.
Our teams joined CVVC and other Digital Economy events in Davos during WEF2020 to discuss industry trends, shape the evolution of financial markets, and light the fire to start the 4th industrial revolution.
