Cashiing out ADA on Yoroi while staking

Hello, I have been staking my ADA on Yoroi for a few years now and with the price increase of ADA I was planning to transfer it to my Newton app (I’m in Canada) and cash it out only to then re-purchase it if ADA drops down again to ~$0.50 USD. If not, I’ll keep the cash. My question is if I do this, would it be better to convert ADA into BTC or some other crypto for tax purposes or it doesn’t matter? And what do I do about the staking rewards I have on Yoroi? I have not withdrawn those rewards (it is not much) so I am unsure if I should withdraw the rewards first on Yoroi then send the whole amount of ADA across to my Newton app or if I should just leave the staking rewards alone if I am already planning to re-purchase ADA later on and re-stake.

If you are withdrawing your ADA and your plan is to repurchase when the price drops, I will advise that you convert the ADA to a stable coin like USDT this way you can purchase other crypto currencies using it. Currently most cryptos are high and purchasing BTC could be risky because when crypto values are at their peak the only way is down not up.

Regarding your staked ADA, I do not know how much you consider little but I would advise that you withdraw it so as to keep it’s value or just let it be (This should be your personal choice).

I hope this answered your worries.

Thank you very much!
