Catalyst Monetary Figures Removed from Proposer Accounts

While I was working to audit recipients of catalyst funds the last few weeks I encountered a change on the Project Catalyst Explorer site that troubled me; we can no longer see the monetary values of How much requested funds someone has or their funded amounts on their proposer profiles.

Below I attached a before and after this update screenshot of the Patrick Tobler Proposer account for you to check yourself.

Terrible timing to remove the monetary values of proposers, especially at a time when auditing and reporting of funds is a bigger narrative for the community.

I immediately went to report this to catalyst but I have no clue if the person I reached out to has any control over there.

Figured I would share this so the community can apply pressure to revert these changes

Yeah - but nah.

This forum post was published three hours ago.

I responded to you nine hours ago that this is likely a bug and have informed you that I’ve reported it already. Very definitively. Full convo reference here.

This wasn’t reported normally either - I was tagged in a post on social forum X.

For formal tickets into the future - I also highly recommend to utilize official helpdesk via https://catalystiog.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

Bottom line - to be assured - this bug has been recorded and will be reconciled. Thanks for reporting.

It’s still not fixed on the platform so idk what you mean by reconciliation

Heya - @shaggyrax - weird. Maybe you need to clear cache, but this sure is fixed already. I can see it reflected so on my end on live website. There was error in importer that was fixed. Thanks for reporting in the first place. Done and dusted in under 24 hours. Good work, partner. :handshake:

Transparency is critical for Project Catalyst. Removing funding visibility from proposer profiles makes auditing harder and undermines community trust. Really This change should be reconsidered.
